Carol Hoy and Louise Baum

Next Saturday (9/23), A SEA Gallery invites all to a reception for Carol Hoy and Louise Baum from 3 to 6 pm showing Baum's new Monoprints and a selection of never-before-seen Encaustic two- and three-dimensional works by Hoy.

July 15th  2017!        We are galloping through the summer!   Because of the on going process (2 1/2 years now)   of down sizing and moving out of our family home and my large beautiful studio as well as still taking care of the landscape/garden (thank God the rains have begun! so I get a break),  the summer is almost half gone before I  planned openings for the rest.    10 days ago Laila Ionesco brought in 5 dramatic new pieces running the gammut from humorously political to deeply, emotionally moving, as well as aescethically exciting, for her Show Opening August 19th.
         At the end of the same week I drove to ABQ (Corrales) to Carol Hoy's  Studio, bringing back 8 wonderful pieces that will serve as an introduction to her show in  September.   In the meantime the Gallery will celebrate all the gallery artists with    a  Gallery garden Party on July 29th from 3:30 to 6:00.   [More images for Ionesco later and a new Post for Hoy.]  

Getting ready for the Summer

May 30th   - the 3rd May Birth date in our extended family, this one belonging to Mia, our oldest granddaughter who is 11 today.  Her aunt and our second daughter Heather's Birthday was  May 28th. And Benjamin (Heather's son)   was 6 on May 4!

A SEA Gallery will host a show of new work by Teri Caputo, Friday  May 5, 5 - 7 pm  836 A Canyon Rd.      The following watercolor images will be included:

October  at a SEA gallery:   a new painting by Carol Hoy:   "Fellow Travelers"   Very dense, yet poetic simplicity in it's lucious color and texture.

June 25th - Last weeks book signing for Bruce Lowney's

Friday the 13th.  Just met my new "Webmaster"    for the gallery and  Monika Steinhoff.com which needs a lot of work.  I know we will work well together.
